Kalzyme's proprietary enzyme blend mimics toothbrushing by breaking the bonds in plaque through hydrolysis, instead of using mechanical force and abrasion. This disperses harmful bacteria attached to the plaque.

Dental plaque, a bacterial biofilm, begins forming within hours after our pets eat. This sticky, transparent layer is not just saliva — it harbours bacteria that multiply and overgrow.

Worse still, plaque shields harmful bacteria, making them up to 1,000 times more resistant to antibacterial agents.
